The Disney Ambassador Hotel in Tokyo Disney Resort has its interior design based on Walt Disney’s cartoons. But you can’t have Disney without Mickey Mouse and that is what the hotel’s managers had in mind when they decided to renovate the hotel and include Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the rooms’ design.
The hotel will be partially renovated between January 23 and February 15. When it will be open again, on February 6, 2013, Disney lovers will be able to rent the Mickey and Minnie rooms located at the hotel’s floor. Everything inside the Mickey Mouse rooms – from carpets and walls to bed sheets – will be decorated in the little mouse’s iconic colors, red and yellow.
Minnie Mouse rooms will be just as nice, but a little bit more “girly”, the Japanese press comments. Minnie’s blue dress and pink bow will be the motif of the rooms. In addition to the cute colorful details, the guests will be treated with amenity bags.
Disney Ambassador Hotel has also prepared a promotional campaign to advertise the Mickey and Minnie Mouse rooms. Guests who are staying at the hotel from October 1 to December 30 can win one of ten free stays in the theme rooms, once the hotel will be reopened.
