A teacup with Lady Gaga’s autograph and lipstick kiss was sold on Sunday at an online auction in Japan for Y6 million ($75,000), after more than 1,300 bids were placed last week on the selling platform, Yahoo! Japan.

The money will be donated to an organisation which supports young Japanese artists to study in the United States.

The china cup and saucer that were sold have been used by the artist at a press conference in Tokyo, last year, three months after the natural disasters which struck Japan.

Lady Gaga has been in Japan twice after the March 2011 disasters and called on tourists to return to the Asian country. She is expected in Japan this week, as part of her current Asian tour.

The singer of hits like “Born this Way” and “Poker Face” will give three concerts on May 10th, 12th and 13th at the Saitama Super Arena near Tokyo.
