Plastic food in the street

Was walking in Shinjuku area an early Sunday morning. Suddenly saw some lovely beers sitting on the pavement. Took a short moment before I realized it was a set of plastic food and drinks, commonly used as menu display in restaurants across Japan. Folks were busy rearranging the display.

Did you know there is a district in Tokyo, near Asakusa where there are many shops selling this plastic food? These shops sell mainly to restaurants, but also cater for tourists. Main street to check out is Kappabashi-dori. Official website can be found here.
